Possess is the first single to the Berpy mixtape. The single was teased in early September with a demo video teasing Berpy, called 'Words out of Berpy'. The video demonstrated a note being writted down with the text that was written being shown down below:

"I couldn't be more clear when I say this. I'm being watched. Trapped in a small circular motion that we much likely can't take. We all have our personal preferences. I know one person who has betrayed me most. We do know his name. He must think he's funny enough to run off scot-free with his name. I know a man, he has a lost brother with a similar name, but distinguishable to be pronounced differently. Berpy, as depicted in poorly drawn imagery, he's a 6'1 male that typically wears black Vans, black jeans, a black button-up shirt with a surrounding white trench coat, and dark, pointy sunglasses.

That's what he's always depicted as being. He has lengthy black hair, a precise nose job and he exists in two simultaneous dimensions. He exists in the plane of our heads, along with being a true human man who roams around and destroys our minds single-handedly. We are yet to know why. We've been documenting every move he makes that we, in our legal right, can record. We don't know how old he is. Despite this, he is capable of doing such acts, and we are going to do our best to get our words out of him."

The song is exactly 4 and a half minutes. This song had the longest production time of 'Berpy' and was the opener to the mixtape. Along with most of his music from around this time, he doesn't really like the production or lyricism. The song came out on the 28th of September 2024.
